OCTOBER TRENDING

(L-R Ken Nottingham, Colin J. Nelson, Casey Ruff, Allison Tulloss, Dave Forrester, Sam Russell, Bart Cameron,  Kjell Anderson)

After getting my nose banged-up a few days prior in a near-collision-with-a-cyclist + dive-to-the-payment, I took the Sunset stage on Sep 2 with my band for the night consisting of the above folks to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of my first album The Katie Sermon . Playing Dave & Kjell for the first time ina few years, along with three of The Foghorns, allowed me to recreate that album front-to-back and play a couple songs I haven't played in 10 years! Aimee was there in crowd and came up to join us vocals on "Train Wreck":

(L to R  Aimee, Ken, Sam, Allison)

It was a great night with a great crowd and I appreciate all those that came out...and also Levi Fuller & Ball of Wax for splitting the night with me and providing a wide array of other acts of the bill to precede.

a lot of stuff coming up, not all  which I can talk about yet but for now I can say:

-on Oct 12th we'll be doing an in-store at Knick Knack Records new pop-up shop at AXIS Pioneer Square and premiering the new video we shot at AXIS back in June for our upcoming single "Born to Hurt." Lotsa friends and other fellow musicians in the vid and came out great thanks to the great direction and editing of Joshua Devenere.  My friends James Apollo, The Foghorns & Virgin of the Birds will also be on hand playing a few songs each. Allison & Aimee will both be out of town, so I'll do a couple solo and maybe acouple with the F-horns.

-on Oct 23rd I'll have the privilage of opening for The Young Dubliners. I'll be teaming up with Creeping Time, Ken, Dave, Kjell's band with Tom Rooney, to swap songs for a set before then YD's come on. Gonna be a good ol' Irish time.

Stay tuned for big and further announcements coming very, very soon....
